The devastating earthquake of 2015 caused an enormous amount of heartache, injury and damage in Kathmandu and its surrounding areas.

Home for a Home has been supporting a school in Kathmandu that now accommodates 130 students and seeks to provide them with a quality and supportive education.

Quite a number of these children are disabled, and their unique needs are addressed in a variety of ways.
Home for a home has been able to provide two new classrooms and a disabled bathroom.

Further to this, Home for a Home has sponsored a ‘Pottery house’ offering vocational training for homeless people as well as those in rehabilitaion.
